NBA Regular Season Returns
Today is the day, the NBA regular season returns. The Nets visit the Bucks, and later the Warriors head to LA to take on the Lakers, both games are on TNT. I don’t think it even needs to be said, but for the record, the TNT crew is so so so much more entertaining than the ESPN crew. Ernie, Shaq, Chuck and Kenny are the best in the business.
I can’t decide if I should update my Finals picks knowing that Kyrie is not playing, I am somewhat holding out hope that 1. KD and Harden can still make it through to the Finals without him 2. That Kyrie is able to return at some point this season and helps carry them or 3. They end up trading Kyrie for a piece that fits and they still make it. If they are going to lose though, let it be to the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Throughout the season I am going to try to pick every game against the spread, I’m not going to bombard your email with an article everyday (unless there is a demand for such a thing) but will post my picks in the article for the days I write, and on Twitter the days that I don’t write (I’ll also tweet them the days I do write). Let’s see if your boy can go 2460 - 0. Doubtful, but let’s hope for a winning record.
Tonight I like the road dawgs. Nets +1 over the Bucks, I think that the reigning champs are going to have a bit of a hangover and the Nets want to come out and prove that they are still a powerhouse without Kyrie. What better team to come out and make a statement against than the champs. KD is going to have himself a night, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Harden messes around and drops a triple double.
I like the Warriors +3.5 on the road as well. I think both teams are going to have some rust to start the game as we saw in the pre-season. The Lakers have a lot of new faces and I expect them to take some time to get into the swing of things. I think the Lakers could still pull of the win, but I think it will be close if they do.
Keeping it short and sweet today, the NBA is all the way back, the Bulls play tomorrow, so let’s hope we see more of what we saw in the pre-season when we take on Detroit. That’s all for now, as always thanks for reading, GO BULLS, and have a great rest of your day, this is All Net.
